Knowing how close graduation is i'm getting a little nervous because all my life I have just been use to this just waking up going to the same school in the same town and reminding myself that in a couple months that is all over it is a weird feeling but also I am very excited to be graduating and making my mom proud. One thing that I will miss is just this school in general it is a great school and great people and the day we all graduate we will all be going our separate ways but memories will last forever. I wish I could stay another couple of years to see my little sister in high school but when it is her turn to take this path i'm sure she will enjoy it as much as I did I spent this year with my younger cousin oscar he's a freshmen and it has been awesome that is another reason I will miss high school just seeing people around and talking about how classes are going but for me it's time to go on to something bigger.
The thing I am looking forward the most is grad night I have been waiting 4 years to go and just enjoy the end of my senior year and just have a good time. I have been working at mcdonalds for almost a year now and i have been getting more hours but I also work with my mom in the fields saving up money for college i have applied to cos but since I am not a U.S citizen i'm a U.S resident and I want to be in the law enforcement class/program I will have to wait until i become one to be a police officer. My plan is to get my guard card and firearm permit when I turn 18 and work as a security guard while the processes of becoming a U.S citizen is going on. I’m doing my best to keep that plan and saving money up for school.
Something that will always be with me is everything I learned about music and art in this school my path way is that and just has become something I enjoy to see or talk about guitar was a great experian but I did not continue that course because the classical guitar was just not me but I did learn how to read music a different way besides tabs. Also band has been awesome I wish I would have took it my 4 years but I only took 2 this year we have a different teacher and I switched from percussion to trumpet and I have also learned a lot from him to do with how to read new songs and he just has different warm ups then last year that have really helped my breathing while playing.
Looking back at my senior year it has been great I am looking forward to the end of year and just say at the end I did it high school is over for me now time for the real world.
